Good Gear editors endorse products we’ve personally researched, tested, and genuinely love. Learn more about our methodology and business model here.

For the last few years, a duo of editors at The Good Trade have attended Eudemonia, a conference focused on the latest wellness trends, cutting-edge biohacking devices, and talks from best-in-class experts in health and longevity like Andrew Huberman, Mark Hyman, Rich Roll & Gabby Reece. If you’re wondering about the name, Eudemonia means “human flourishing” or “wellbeing” in Greek.

Last fall, I had the pleasure of attending with our Senior Editor, Ashley. We sat in on talks like Brain Energy: Metabolism, Mental Health, and Metabolic Therapies with Chris Palmer, MD, Toxic Exposures, Tangled Systems: How Pollutants Impact Brain, Body, and Home with Lindsay Dahl, and Nine Proven Ways to Slow Aging Velocity Now and Supercharge Female Longevity with Robin Berzin, founder of Parsley Health.

We also got to walk the convention floor, where we explored the top biohacking and wellness brands, while we sipped adaptogenic coffees. Some felt obvious (supplements, blue light glasses, saunas), and some were far-out devices that looked like spaceships and cost thousands of dollars. We’ll get into those below.

Beyond all the complicated recommended rituals, routines, devices, and supplements, I was surprised and comforted that most talks came back to the same core fundamentals: Diet and hydration, sleep, community, no alcohol, air quality (which supports brain health), and stress management. The real biohacks are free.

“The real biohacks are free.”

But for the sake of optimization and fun, I wanted to review some of the wildest products we saw. Plus, it’s our duty as wellness reporters to bring you the latest and greatest for the sake of health — at least for the sake of research.

Lastly, one thing multiple speakers emphasized was the importance of joy. After all, why try to increase longevity if the life you’re extending isn’t celebrated and enjoyed? That’s not living at all. Let’s remember that first and foremost.

1. NanoVi Device

A woman sits in a chair with an oxygen cannula under her nose, eyes closed, next to a medical device displaying settings on a screen; massage guns rest nearby, suggesting additional wellness therapies.

Price: $6,300+

What It Does:
NanoVi helps your cells repair damage faster by delivering the same signals your body naturally makes when healing. You breathe humidified air through a small nasal tube for 15-30 minutes while the device infuses it with specific electromagnetic energy that creates “coherent water domains”: structured water molecules your cells recognize as the signal to accelerate repair. The result is faster recovery from oxidative stress (cellular wear and tear), improved protein function, DNA repair, and mitochondrial support. Think of it as giving your body’s maintenance crew extra tools so they can fix things faster than they normally would.

Why I’d Invest:
Ashley and I tried the NanoVi at the end of our first day at the conference — we were seriously exhausted after travel and a day of informational talks — but this session seemed to give both of us a pep in our step. It was little energy boost that carried us through the rest of the night. The NanoVi is certainly not a quick fix. Its results are designed to compound over time. The device helps repair cellular and protein-folding damage tied to oxidative stress — that’s when your cells get damaged faster than your body can repair them. There’s solid evidence that it increases VO2 max (the maximum oxygen your body uses), which is a huge focus for athletes. As someone who does multiple hard workouts a week, I think this would be a game-changer for recovery. It’s the kind of investment that pays dividends in energy, performance, and longevity. You sit, you breathe, and multi-task (or meditate), while your cells get stronger.

2. Ammortal Chamber

A woman lies in a futuristic wellness pod emitting pink light at a convention, while several people observe the demonstration of advanced relaxation technologies like massage guns.

Price: $149,500-$160,000 (10% deposit: $15,950)

What It Does:
The Ammortal Chamber stacks 10+ therapies into one 25-minute session: Electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF/PEF), red and near-infrared light therapy, sound vibration therapy, guided meditation and breathwork, plus molecular hydrogen delivered through a nasal tube. You lie on a NASA-inspired zero-gravity bed inside a lightning bolt-shaped chamber while the lid lowers and all the tech runs simultaneously. It’s designed to deliver what would normally take hours of separate treatments in under half an hour.

Why I’d Invest:
The Ammortal might be a better multitasker than me, and even though it rings up to such a high price, it’s basically every biohacking device combined. I didn’t get to try it, but the experience is described as achieving a deep state of peace and calm while simultaneously feeling “calm but caffeinated” energy afterward. It quiets the mind, reduces pain, enhances meditation, and provides an energy boost that doesn’t feel jittery.  If I’m building a dream morning routine, that sounds like the exact feeling I’d like to cultivate. Plus, it’s got a very cool futuristic look and would be a serious talking piece when guests come over.

3. Pulse PEMF EQ-X

A yellow portable electronic device with an open lid, showing control knobs, a display screen, and labeled instructions inside the lid—perfect for tuning or troubleshooting massage guns on the go.

Price: $13,200 (plus accessories)

What It Does:
Pulse PEMF EQ-X is a portable, professional-grade device that delivers pulsed electromagnetic field therapy: Essentially, electromagnetic pulses that exercise your cells. It connects to accessories like mats, pads, or loungers that you lie on. At the event, I used the Zero Gravity Lounger –  a contoured full-body accessory that evenly distributes your weight and maximizes surface contact so the electromagnetic pulses can penetrate deeper. It sends these pulses through your body to enhance cellular recovery, activate muscles, improve circulation, and relieve pain. One dial controls the intensity, so it’s straightforward to use despite being seriously powerful.

Why I’d Invest:
Most nights, I wind down on my biomat, which I understand has PEMF. So when a friend asked me to try the PEMF machine… I thought I knew what I was in for… but NO. Real PEMF is intense. It vibrates your body and makes the places that need extra healing and circulation literally pulse. It felt a little vulnerable, honestly, like the device was pinpointing exactly where I was holding tension or needed support. That specificity is what makes it worth the investment. It’s not gentle wellness theater: It’s active, targeted intervention. Three-year warranty, built to last.

4. VibraTec Vibration Plate

A woman stands on a platform with blue LED lights at an indoor event, surrounded by others on similar platforms, showcasing massage guns in a lively atmosphere.

Price: $3,800

What It Does:
VibraTec is a vibration plate you stand on. It uses Pulsewave technology set at 25Hz to vibrate your entire body, supporting lymphatic drainage, inflammation reduction, joint pain relief, muscle activation, and improved circulation. NASA-inspired therapy in a 25-pound portable platform with a 400-pound weight capacity and lifetime warranty.

Why I’d Invest:
Ashley and I visited this booth multiple times for a fun wiggle on the vibration plates: It was an instant wake-up and energy giver. When you step off, your whole body is still pulsing, and you feel a little high, like you’re walking on a cloud. I overheard high-ups at Eudemonia saying this product was the most worth investing in over most of the other products at the conference for the benefits and price. Vibration plates are all the rage right now, so make sure you’re investing in a good one.

5. SaunaSpace FireLight Sauna

A trade show booth labeled "SaunaSpace" features a tent, informational displays, red lighting, and several people conversing and exploring the exhibit—some also testing out massage guns alongside wellness products.

Price: $4,995

What It Does:
SaunaSpace FireLight is a portable sauna tent that uses 4 special infrared light bulbs in an organic cotton canvas enclosure with a wood frame. It gets you sweating at a gentle 100-120°F (lower than traditional saunas) while delivering both heat therapy and light therapy simultaneously for deep detoxification, cellular repair, immune strengthening, and anti-aging benefits. Optional SilverLining shield blocks 99.99% of wireless radiation (5G/WiFi/Bluetooth). Handmade in Missouri, it comes with everything you need: Hearth panel, enclosure, bamboo grounding mat, sauna stool, exfoliating brush, and outlet tester.

Why I’d Invest:
I know I would benefit from sweating more, but it’s hard to get to a sauna, and as a renter, I’m hesitant about major investments that won’t move with me. Instead of having to invest in a full-on home spa, this is a portable sanctuary you can set up in 15 minutes, use daily, and take with you when you move. The full-spectrum incandescent approach means you’re getting actual heat therapy combined with light therapy, not just one or the other. The zero-EMF design and 100-day trial remove the risk. It’s so easy that it turns daily sauna into a non-negotiable part of your routine instead of something you squeeze in occasionally at the gym. I didn’t get a sweat sesh in at Eudemonia, but I did pop in for a few minutes to warm up between events – it was cold in the air-conditioned convention center!

6. Renew Redlight Panel (Large Panel)

A woman poses in a yoga-like stretch, illuminated by a tall red light therapy panel, while massage guns rest nearby in the cozy living room setting.

Price: 2,250.00

What It Does:
Renew’s Large Panel is a full-body red light therapy device: A big panel that emits 6 different wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support skin rejuvenation, pain relief, muscle recovery, anti-aging (collagen production), inflammation reduction, sleep improvement, and cellular energy. It has touch and voice control with preset modes (so you just pick your goal and go), plus a custom mode. Comes with a folding floor stand with wheels, protective glasses, power cable, and user manual. Woman-owned brand, HSA/FSA eligible, 3-year warranty.

Why I’d Invest:
I currently use a LightStim wand and love the benefits of red light, but it’s easy to get lazy since you have to move it around your face and body. With a full panel, you just sit in front of it, and your whole body gets the benefits: Faster recovery after workouts, skin that looks brighter and more even (it helps fade sun spots and calm acne), anti-aging support through collagen production, reduced inflammation, and that deep cellular repair and regeneration happening while you just… sit there. If we’re investing, let’s go full panel so we can meditate in front of it each morning. I think making it a ritual is key to staying consistent, and the benefits compound when you show up daily.
