GOOD GEAR RATING — 10/10 STARS
Summary: The rebounder from LEKFITis a high-quality, durable product that delivers excellent cardio and core strengthening — with the convenience of staying at home! I highly recommend it for its firm support, versatility, and ease of use, particularly for anyone seeking a consistent, low-impact home workout. The only considerations are its non-folding design and firm bounce, which may not suit every preference.
What I Love:
- The LEKFIT’s firm bounce provides excellent core and pelvic floor engagement.
- It’s suitable for adults of all ages seeking low-impact cardio and core strength.
- The rebounder integrates well with LEKFIT’s extensive digital workout library, yet it’s easy to adapt to your own movement, rhythm, and personal workout routine. I have been using both LEKFIT digital classes and my own routine.
- When turned on its side, it can be used to stretch after workouts, and it’s perfect for lying on for warm-downs or yoga poses. I love using it for the “legs up the wall” pose.
Things To Note:
- Does not fold for storage — but I’ve found that when not in use, it can double as extra seating with a throw and some decorative pillows. Perfect for my small NYC apartment.
- Bungee cords require some strength to attach to the rim. (I need to build up my arm muscle!)
- The firm rebound may feel too stiff for those who prefer a softer bounce.
- The maximum weight supported is 300 lbs.
In 2012, at my acupuncturist’s recommendation, I gave up running six miles a day, stopped going to the gym, and bought my first rebounder. I have been happily addicted to rebounding ever since. From apartment to apartment, from the East Coast to the West Coast, rebounding remains one of the most effective, fun, and accessible ways I exercise at home. There are no excuses when the equipment is staring you in the face, and you know all you have to do is roll out of bed and onto this incredible bouncing stage.
“Rebounding remains one of the most effective, fun, and accessible ways I exercise at home.”
I always call my rebounder a stage because when I lived in my former NYC loft apartment, I felt like a Broadway performer or a rock star jumping in an arena. Yes, in my next life, I want to come back as a rock star like the one and only Eddie Van Halen, singing “Jump.” (Though I imagine I would be more like Florence & The Machine.) I know I am not alone in seeing the rebounder as a stage since my fellow attendees of the LEKFIT classes also commented on this stage-like feeling. After all, the founder is a dancer. The musical and performance aspects naturally align and, lucky us, we get to call it “working out.”
Running tore my body up, especially my spine and knees. There are also safety issues with running on pavement, especially at night. I have run in every possible weather condition, and suffered for it, too. I incurred a permanent back injury after falling on icy steps while heading out for a run. Rebounding has kept me safe from harsh weather conditions — no freezing cold, rain, or heat waves. Temperatures can be dangerous, and air quality is also a concern. So you can imagine my relief when I took to rebounding quickly.
“There is a sense of freedom when you jump, and a lightness and organic euphoria from being elevated and not touching the ground. “
Most of all, I love how rebounding feels like more than exercise. It feels more like dance and creative self-expression. There is a sense of freedom when you jump, and a lightness and organic euphoria from being elevated and not touching the ground. It enhances your imagination’s ability to incorporate rhythm and dance. I get some of my best creative insights and ideas when I bounce! As a life coach who focuses on releasing suffocated creativity, I view rebounding as a way to release creativity and lymphatic toxins. More on that later, ha!
When I came across the opportunity to review LEKFIT, I was excited to put it to the test against my previous rebounder and to try the classes, too. Below I’m sharing everything I’ve learned about the brand, what I encountered in my practice, and my favorite features, too.
The science behind the brand
Rebounding not only supports cardiovascular health, balance, lymphatic circulation, and core strength but also remains gentle on the joints. For me, at 64, any joint-friendly exercise is one I want to practice regularly. Like Jennifer Aniston, who has described rebounding as “a fun way to clear your head,” I agree. It definitely gives your mind a boost.
“Rebounding not only supports cardiovascular health, balance, lymphatic circulation, and core strength but also remains gentle on the joints.”
This gentle activity stimulates the lymphatic system, which lacks a pump and relies on body movement to circulate lymph, helping flush toxins and support immune function. Multiple studies and reviews also report improvements in balance, coordination, and mobility from rebound exercise programs, including among older adults with osteopenia and other populations, supporting its use for bone health and fall prevention. Because the rebound surface absorbs more shock than pavement, rebounding offers a cardiovascular and bone-strengthening workout without the heavy impact on knees, ankles, or the spine.
Many people also describe rebound training as uplifting and mentally refreshing, underscoring its mood-boosting potential alongside its physical benefits. I was surprised to learn that the NASA studies took place in the 1980s. It is only in the last 15 or so years that I have seen rebounding grow in popularity, yet the science has been available for years!
Receiving and setting up LEKFIT
The rebounder arrived weighing approximately 23 lbs. Unboxing was simple, though one bungee cord detached during shipping and required effort to reattach — an indication of the rebounder’s firm tension and durability, and of my need to become stronger!
The assembly took about 10–15 minutes and required only screwing on the eight metal legs. LEKFIT does not offer assembly services because none are necessary, given the straightforward design. I love that LEKFIT’s rebounder supports up to 300 lbs., significantly more than my previous model, which supported only 130 lbs.

Visually, the LEKFIT rebounder has a clean, aesthetically pleasing design. While I initially questioned whether I would enjoy the firm bounce, I found it supportive and effective, particularly for core and pelvic floor engagement. I have a more intense workout on the LEKFIT rebounder than on my previous one. I now prefer this bounce to my other rebounder because it feels like I am getting a more vigorous workout.
What’s a LEKFIT virtual workout like?
LEKFIT’S digital classes and Lauren Kleban are inspiring and uplifting, and they really make you want to do your best. You feel like she is personally cheering you on with every bounce, and I think she is.
My favorite was the 30-minute rebounder cardio class — it was beginner-friendly and energizing. Her squats, in particular, were so effective that I now include them in all my workouts. Sometimes I forget to stretch, so the Bounce & Stretch class, which blends movements on and off the rebounder for a well-rounded session, is a welcome reminder.

The LEKFIT portal is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, especially for someone like me who is not technologically savvy. You can browse workouts, choose the length you need, and learn about the method. There is an option for every need, whether it’s rebounding, a mat workout, or Pilates. By the pool and in the Mama & Mini class, too! I don’t think the company has left anything out!
After your workout, you can even do cooldown stretching on the mat, which feels less like exercise and more like an after-dance hug. Dance is an important part of founder Lauren Kleban’s life, and it shows when you take her classes. Whether you are a beginner, young, or a senior like me, there is always a chance to get stronger and improve your overall fitness goals. I am a little wobbly from joint issues and need to build more strength and muscle.
While I have been rebounding regularly for over fourteen years, it was not until I started taking the LEKFIT classes that I became aware of where I need more strength and better focus on form. So, I plan to continue the digital classes, and when in LA, I am excited to try one of their in-person classes as well.
Consistency and long-term use
I have been using the LEKFIT rebounder for 30 minutes every day for the last four weeks.
At first, I was unsure whether I would comfortably adjust to the firm resistance. But once I started bouncing, I immediately felt the difference in my core and heart rate, and now I prefer this rebounder to my other one. It supports both short, efficient workouts and longer sessions using LEKFIT’s digital classes. The firm resistance encourages proper form and consistent muscle engagement, making workouts feel intentional rather than passive. Because I have used both bounce firmness levels, I can honestly and confidently make this statement!
“The firm resistance encourages proper form and consistent muscle engagement, making workouts feel intentional rather than passive. “
Before the LEKFIT, I have always rebounded barefoot. The benefits of barefoot rebounding include strengthening foot and ankle muscles and improving balance, which I need. (I suffered a terrible ankle sprain last year, so I need to focus on strengthening both ankles.) However, rebounding barefoot can cause soreness. Sneakers can offer extra support for your arches and ankles, also helping to prevent slips and absorb impact. I just find sneakers restrictive. After seeing the founder, Lauren Kleban’s video workout classes, where she wears super cool black sneakers and instructs, “belly in, chin up!” (a reminder I so needed), I have decided to incorporate switching between bare feet and sneakers to see if I feel a difference.
“The digital platform is highly accessible, with a variety of classes and workouts that make it impossible to miss. “
The digital platform is highly accessible, with a variety of classes and workouts that make it impossible to miss. The seven-day set of workout classes has a new focus each week, so there is never a repeat or a chance to get bored. I love this, and the music is always a different, upbeat surprise.
The team organizes the workouts for you, so you just have to show up! I love that! This was important for me because I had been doing my own workouts without proper guidance or instruction, and I now see firsthand the benefits of their method.
While working on this review, I videoed myself using the LEKFIT rebounder, and I am glad I did. It showed me where I need improvement and where to focus on form. Lauren is a great teacher and guide. You can feel that she wants you to celebrate your body’s movement and abilities as she does, which is encouraging and inspiring.
My final thoughts
The LEKFIT philosophy is simple: Have fun, be effective, and celebrate. Celebrating our body as a scientific marvel is essential in our overly critical, body-obsessed society, fixated on perfection. In my view, LEKFIT asks us to appreciate the perfect physical vessel we were born with and enjoy it, rather than seeing a workout as drudgery or punishment to be endured. Rather than the “get in shape” idea, the LEKFIT method inspires us to recognize that fitness and our form can and should be celebrated as gifts.
“The LEKFIT method inspires us to recognize that fitness and our form can and should be celebrated as gifts.”
In this vein, Kleban also believes that working out seven days a week is key and that we don’t need to “take a day off.” I agree with this philosophy, but working out every day doesn’t mean the same level of intensity or even the same number of minutes. LEKFIT digital studio offers many options. The idea of having fun while getting fit is a win-win for everyone.
So, is it worth it? YES! At approximately $350, the LEKFIT rebounder offers strong value given its durability, performance, and versatility. LEKFIT offers a limited warranty for original owners: 5 years on the sturdy steel frame, 1 year on the mat (excluding normal wear and tear), and 12 months on the bungees. Each mat or bungee qualifies for one free replacement during the warranty period.
At this price point, it is very affordable. My other rebounder was much more expensive, and at LEKFIT’s price, you might also want to consider some of their other products, which can be a practical addition to your at-home gym. I was particularly interested in the resistance bands that Lauren uses in some of the classes, the LEKFIT Band Set Pro.
“So, is it worth it? YES!”
Ultimately, this rebounder is best suited for adults seeking an effective yet low-impact at-home workout. It is also great for new moms who may not have the opportunity to leave their young children. I wish rebounding had been around when I was raising my children! (Just a note: It may not be appropriate for individuals with more mobility limitations or for unsupervised use by children.)
As a life coach, I can’t help but leave you with a fun and inspirational fact: The comedian Bob Hope lived to 100 and reportedly said, “I keep my rebounder at the foot of my bed and use it daily.” I’m joining him!
